We ❤️ Main Street

At Agent Vista, we love helping small businesses, and we love helping families and individuals.

Small businesses are the backbone of the American economy—accounting for over 99% of all U.S. businesses* and employing nearly half of the private workforce.

Families and individuals form the very fabric of our communities. 73% of U.S. adults view spending time with family as one of the most important things in their lives*.

In the insurance world, these customers are typically labeled as “small commercial lines”, “personal lines” or simply “small accounts.”

Not at Agent Vista. In our hearts, they are anything but “small”.

Helping these customers isn’t a side project—it’s in our DNA. At our previous agency, we served tens of thousands of customers whose average premiums were just a few thousand dollars each. That scale taught us something important: when you get the service and the technology right, you can improve outcomes for everyone.

Unfortunately, in too many boardrooms, the conversation sounds different. Over the years—whether working at or advising large brokers—we’ve heard senior leaders dismiss small commercial and personal lines and refer to it as “a cancer to our office”. That mindset is telling.

It’s why these accounts often get shunted off to carrier service centers or outsourced to offshore call centers. And while that might make the P&L look cleaner in the short-run, it creates only one thing for insurance customers in the long-run: disruption.

We take the opposite approach.

At Agent Vista, serving small businesses, families, and individuals isn’t an afterthought—it’s core to who we are. It’s what we focus on every single day. While traditional roll-ups acquire agencies across varying lines of business, different industries, and myriad customer profiles, we’re building our entire business model around one type of customer: the kind everyone else overlooks. The customer that is the backbone of our local communities.

There’s a saying: If you try to be all things to all people, you end up being nothing to anyone. By focusing solely on these local customers, we can build technology that actually works for them, create processes that give them back their time, and empower our employees to provide genuine, personalized service.

Because in our eyes, what others see as “trash” is the very treasure that keeps our communities strong.

If you are just as passionate about serving small businesses and local communities, please reach out. We’d love to hear from you.

Sincerely,

AV Team
